Hello everyone!
It's my first time with camera.
I made a film how I make my own texture paste.
I've played around with it a little bit, and I love it!
As you can see on the video, I used regular baby powder, PVA glue, and acrylic white pearl/metalic bronze paint to create the paste. The mixture will keep perfectly for many months.
INGREDIENTS:
- Baby powder
- White Glue - cheap PVA, Mod Podge or any other glue
- Acrylic Paint
- Portion Cups - You use plastic ounce glasses from the party supply store which makes about 1/3 cup of paste.
You will also need a container to mix in that can be sealed air tight and something to stir with.
RECIPE:
- 1 portion of paint, 1/2 portion of glue and 2 portions of powder
If you want to have more dry paste is
that the dry paste has 1/2 portion extra of baby powder added to it.
Paste made from:
- PVA glue,
- Nuveo Acrylic Metalic Bronze Pearl paint
- Baby Powder
Another paste that I made from:
- PVA glue,
- Nuveo Acrylic White Pearl paint
- Baby Powder
On the top You can find oryginal Texture paste from 13 Arts
On the bottom is home made from :
- PVA glue,
- Nuveo Acrylic White Pearl paint
- Baby Powder
On this photo I wanted to show you a texture paste from:
Top:
MOD PODGE Matte
Nuve Acrylic White paint
Soda powder
Baby Powder
Texture paste with soda is a bit lumpy so if you want to have a smooth texture better idea is to use baby powder.
Bottom:
PVA Glue
Soda Powder
White Gesso
RECIPE:
- 1 portion of paint, 1/2 portion of glue and 2 portions of powder
The only difference between the recipe for sticky paste and dry paste is that the dry paste has 1/2 portion extra of baby powder added to it.
Have a lovely day!
Malwina
